c. 1940s. 4.25x4.25" glass ashtray has early version of caricature which became Lewis' trademark image with facsimile signature just below art. Exc. Browns Hotel was the first location at which Jerry Lewis met success with his comedy act in the 1940s prior to partnering with Dean Martin in 1946. Exc.
