Item Description
Here are the only two non-Disney dolls we’ve seen by Charlotte. Bugs Bunny is quite large standing 20” tall to the top of his head and 26” tall counting his ears. The ears have interior wires so they can be positioned. His body is of relative thin gray material and this does have some insect damage. Very little actually shows from the front but there are 3 spots on the right side of his face each about .25” and a larger .5”. About a half-dozen smaller on the back of his head and another half-dozen on the back of his body. There is a small exposed area with a wire leading to his gloved hand on the right. This again shows little from the front. His left hand holds a fabric carrot with pipe cleaner green accent. Underside of the feet are covered in black oilcloth. Very detailed face with black oilcloth eyes on large white felt bkgs., pink nose, much stitching and all accented by a pair of white felt buck teeth. Overall condition is just Good to VG but he still displays at least Fine and is quite clean. Woody Woodpecker stands 16” tall. He has a very expressive face with a somewhat crazy look in his eyes. Eyes are oilcloth and felt with expressive black stitching eyebrow lines and beak line. Back of his head has 3 red fabric tufts. Back of the doll has a pair of blue vertical feathers with interior wires so they can be positioned. The only real damage are a number of tiny surface holes on the dark yellow felt pads under his feet. There has been a small bit of re-stitching at the back of his neck in white thread. Each hand had a string stitch to hold the hand to the body and one of these has popped loose but could easily be re-attached. One foot has a very tiny fabric break between 2 ‘toes’ but hardly noticeable. A great doll in overall VF condition. Comes with notarized statement and Hake’s COA. See item #2200 for details. Unique hand-crafted pair and the only 2 non-Disney dolls we’ve seen by Charlotte.
