Item Description
From 1942 with insignia slide-off secret compartment top although due to some oxidation around the edges it takes a fair amount of force to remove the cover. Interior does contain both original photos with the Lone Ranger on the top of the ring base and Silver on the underside of the slide-off top. Both photos remain extremely clean. The slide-off top has nice luster on its raised area with just some luster loss from around the lower narrow perimeter edges. The entire ring base does still retain Exc. original lustrous brass finish. The ring top slides back in place a little easier than it comes off. This is probably the scarcest of the 4 rings with military insignia and it is only very rarely offered with both original pictures intact.
