Item Description
Unusual size 1-3/8” oval with covered metal back and vertical pin shows wonderful sepia scene of crowd of people on sidewalk in front of newspaper offices plus at least 9 people on the vehicle with tiny caption below “Seeing Saint Paul.” The vehicle itself has tiny text on its side “Dispatch Tours.” While the celluloid displays nicely, it does have 2 significant dents along with a white dot as made on the top edge next to a small nick in the celluloid. A great scene under magnification including numerous children, man in white jacket speaking into megaphone and several inscriptions on the windows of the newspaper building in the bkg. Only example we’ve seen. Comes with Hake’s COA. See Santa Claus-related button from this newspaper #754.
