9x11.75”. c. 1932. Issued by “Garbaty” cigarettes. Has 36 numbered stiff paper pages for placement of the cards plus additional single-sided pages throughout noting different sections, contents, etc. Contains complete set of 216 cards, each 1.5x2-3/8”. Each features choice full color illustration, all have been neatly mounted at appropriate spots. Below each is corresponding card number, title and aircraft statistics. Title translates as “The Conquest Of The Sky” and is Vol. 2 subtitled “Foreign Countries.” Cards depict airplanes of countries around the world (other than Germany), mostly military aircraft, and each card design includes wing and tail markings. Countries include US, England, Italy, Japan, etc. Last page was designed with a cut-out airplane but as is typical this page is missing. O/w contents complete. Moderate scattered cover wear and aging. Cover VG/Fine. Pages have lt. trace of margin aging but remain largely VF. Cards have typical lt. wear/aging as mounted but are overall Exc.
