1-11/16” dia. plus loop well-made award featuring red enamel on the rim surrounding the Scout emblem and a palm frond. Rim reads “For Meritorious Action/Boy Scouts Of America.” Exceedingly tiny flake of enamel off the word “Action” but not deep enough to reveal the underlying silver metal. Top has loop with link. Reverse is marked simply “Sterling.” Hard to date but we would estimate 1960s or earlier.
