Item Description
3.75x6.75x7/8” deep box contains New Haven watch with 1x1-3/8” dia. silver luster metal case watch. ©1948 News Syndicate Co., Inc. Box lid has Chester Gould profile illustration of Dick Tracy and Dick Tracy Jr., complete with original matching insert. Lid has surface dust and scattered color rubs with wear along edges but retains its structure and is free of splits. Fine/VF. Original leather band shows no wear, appearing to have never been worn. Dial has image of Dick Tracy from knees up with “Dick Tracy” name across his waist. Dial shows some trace of aging with scattered pinpoint marks but clean. Lt. wear to crystal but overall watch is VF and running. From the Jerry Howell Jr. collection.
