This large 3.5” pinback has large and friendly image of Mickey waving with text below “Sincerely Yours-Mickey Mouse.” These limited distribution buttons were used by store clerks, typically in the toy department of a larger department store in the mid-1930s. The curl reads “By Special Permission Walt Disney Enterprises/Kay Kamen, Inc.” Button has a noticeable but very narrow line of tan stain around three-quarters of the outer perimeter but beyond this there is just a small 1/16” tan dot on the right lower bkg. Button retains its intense color and has nice glossy surface. One of only about a half a dozen we’ve had in 4 decades. Still displays very attractively. While we’ve sold unstained examples well in excess of $1,000, this one opens much lower.
