Item Description
The earliest Mickey Mouse Clubs starting in Jan., 1930 were based in movie theaters and members selected a slate of officers ranging from “Chief” down to buttons designating “Chorus” members. This large 2.25” went to the child holding the rank of “Sergt.-At-Arms” presumably in charge of keeping his youthful companions orderly. Text below Mickey has the earliest style Disney imprint “Copy. 1928-1930/By W.E. Disney.” No backpaper as issued. A superb example with just the most trivial surface wear in reflected light. Displays Mint and the best of 3 we’ve seen for this specific office.
