Item Description
Impressive size and design showing Missouri “Gov. Hadley” and St. Louis “Mayor Kreismann.” Button was issued to attract the national convention in 1910 with text including “32 Trunk Lines Of Railroads Centering Here” and “The Central City Of The United States.” Made by Steiner and with their sticker on the reverse plus large 1.5x2.5” sticker bordered in red reading “The Citizens Of St. Louis, Through The Convention’s Bureau Of The Business Men’s League, Invite You To Hold Your National Encampment 1910, In Our City.” Sticker has some gray tone due to being glued to the black cardboard back. Button has some tanning on the perimeter but just a very narrow streak and primarily on the lower half. Only the third we’ve seen. About Fine with high gloss.
