Item Description
.75” button has backpaper with union bug and name of Pittsburgh maker, “Weber Erich Bunting Co.” Small dark mark on the paper but all remains readable. Button is from the earliest 1900s and the Pirates were National League champs in 1901-02-03 and 1909. The possibility exists the initials “A.L.” stand for American League. On the other hand, maybe “Boys” means simply young boys and maybe A.L. stands for Athletic League. Button is VF and displays Exc. Only one we’ve seen.
