Item Description
Each is 1.25”. First and earliest in group is from “Robert Fraser’s” with W&H backpaper which has trivial pencil mark. Button is o/w Exc. Second is Santa advertising “The Bulletin.” Backpaper by W&H. Rather scarce design although see another with different imprint in lot #544. Third is choice color Santa with toy pack plus text in gold “Merry Christmas/Victor & Co.” Surface is just a hair concave with a few tiny scuffs scattered and showing in reflected light but still Exc. color. No backpaper but Bastian on curl. Fourth is Santa reading his “Good Girls/Good Boys” book issued by Carl Co. Toyland. N. Mint with Bastian backpaper. Fifth is Santa promoting electrical products. No backpaper but with Bastian name on curl. Exc. Last is common but earliest version of very popular design first introduced in the 1930s. This has rarely seen backpaper by Spencer of Philadelphia and promotes a store named “Unterecker’s.” Essentially Mint.
