Lot of 3 glazed china salt & pepper shakers sets, each being figural depictions of Maggie & Jiggs from Bringing Up Father. Smallest set – Jiggs is 2-1/8” tall, Maggie is 2.25” tall. Lt. paint wear to Jiggs’ cigar and cane. Both are missing cork stoppers but o/w Exc. Next set, Jiggs is 2.25” tall, Maggie is 2-3/8” tall. Nice gold luster to top of Jiggs’ hat though there is some luster wear. Both have original cork stoppers though Jiggs’ is now inside shaker. Exc. Last set, Jiggs is 3-1/8” tall, Maggie is 3.25” tall. Nice figural depictions. Both have original cork stoppers though Jiggs’ is now inside of shaker. Exc. overall. All c. 1930s. One set is stamped "Made in Japan" on bottom. Other 2 sets are unmarked - most likely made in Germany or Japan. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
