Item Description
1.75” produced for the 1960 GOP convention by the Michigan delegation who wanted Ford to be the VP running mate with Nixon. While this did not work out, Ford gave the nominating speech at the convention for the actual nominee Henry Cabot Lodge. Hake #2122. Lower right rim edge has exceedingly tiny 1/16” cello nick and above the letter “O” of “FORD” is a pinpoint dot just the slightest bit darker than surrounding yellow color. Both marks are exceedingly tiny and minor. Button still displays clean and Exc. Quite limited distribution.
