Item Description
9.75x16x1” deep box contains complete and unused set from the early 1970s. Exceptional design and features 1930s-style graphics, Mickey is depicted as a magician. Insert board shows him with magic wand and top hat which emits stars, lightning bolts, cards and rabbits. Minnie and Pluto watch his performance. At center is knob as well as two die-cut windows of red/green transparent plastic. Mickey’s top hat is die-cut and lifts up for placement of the 28 different vinyl pieces. Box text reads “Tricks That Change Like Magic Before Your Very Eyes.” Each piece has dual images which change as they pass through the viewing screens and all are cleverly designed including bone that changes to Pluto’s face, milk bottle that changes to cow, sandwich that changes to pig, top hat that changes to rabbit, frog that changes to prince, etc. Complete with instruction folder. Plain white box bottom has trace of aging but lid is N. Mint, contents Mint. Designed by Mel Birnkrant and a file copy from his personal archive. Comes with Hake’s COA.
