1.25” with photo area outlined in gold accents all against star and stripe bkg. The button displays beautifully but there are a couple of small defects. The celluloid covering has some very slight rippling. Just a very tiny bit on the left side of his face which shows only in reflected light. In addition are a pair of tiny 1/8” lines vertically above his head which are just a little noticeable to the touch or in reflected light. There are 2 other tiny ripples on the rim edge at 1 o’clock and 5 o’clock. On the reverse there is a .5” hairline where the application of the collet cut the celluloid but this causes no problem as the celluloid lays perfectly flat. Metal back has a light layer of oxidation but no trace of staining. A rare Wilson.
