Auction #199 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 972 in auction 199
Item Description
11/16” with narrow brass rim and brass reverse stud. Listed as Hake #3182. By 1888, the cardboard photo had largely replaced ferrotypes and we believe this is the sole jugate design issued for Harrison with a matching Cleveland. The emulsion surface may once have been a bit more glossy but there are no chips or cracks. The few examples we have seen are typically even darker than this one on which the images are easily visible. Scarce and extremely Fine.
