34”. Felt. Original streamers attached. Great design of US soldiers dancing and socializing with Mexicans. Pennant is from what the United States Army Center of Military History officially refers to as the “Mexican Expedition.” It officially began March 14, 1916 and ended Feb. 7, 1917. The Expedition was in retaliation for Francisco “Poncho” Villa’s illegal insertion into the United States an attack on the village of Columbus, Luna County, New Mexico during the Mexican Revolution. Colorful/detailed graphics. Paint crazing. Still displays Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
