Lot of three. 3.5x5.5”. All c. 1910. All English. First with text “Health & Strength Series/Sam Langford. A Characteristic Pose No. 11.” Corner bump, Lt. wear. Next reads “Sam Langford. American Coloured Heavy-Weight.” Lt. spotting. Last reads “Photo By Sport & General. Sam Langford. Beagles Postcard.” (Light crease when held in reflected light). Langford lost to Jack Johnson in 1906. Fought many of the greats in the first decade of the 20th century. Enshrined in the “Ring Boxing Hall Of Fame” and “Canadian Sports Hall Of Fame” in 1955. All unused. Fine/VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
