Item Description
Lot of thirty-two 3.5x5.5" postcards, all series numbered between 1000 and 1072 (contact us for specific numbers).  Literally hundreds of different Bonzo postcards were produced in the 1920s-1030s.  Primarily these are "Valentine" or "RPS" series.  All in this lot are from the "RPS" series.  Some interesting images of note including 3 cards featuring a drunk Bonzo, one image of Bonzo with a suspicious  powder on his nose, titled "His Mistress's Vice."  Eleven have been postally issued in Britain, a twelfth card has writing on back.  Scattered handling wear, most are Fine-VF overall.  From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
