Item Description
Large lot. First is 17x22” one-sided, fold-out sheet titled “Green Duck News-O-Gram.” It is a reprint from the Chicago Herald American Apr. 26, 1952. Numerous campaign novelties are illustrated along with the photos of the lithograph process. Folded as issued. Next is a letter from the Republican National Committee dated 1952 to all suppliers giving guidelines as to the purchase of campaign material. Attached to that is a tri-fold sheet of various campaign material available from several sources. This includes handmade badges from India, see lot #82. Next is an 11x12.5” one-sided ad featuring “Buttons, Tabs and Emblems For The Ike/Nixon And The GOP In 1952.” 1” tear at fold. Attached is the corresponding price sheet. Next is a typed correspondence with the lettering “Callahan Washington Letter” featuring buttons at the top of the letterhead. Folded as issued. Also included is a smaller version of the Ike-Nixon 1952 Green Duck offerings. Also included is a 5x5” black and white sheet of Ike/Dick buttons. Also included is a “Ike In ‘56” Green Duck illustrated sales sheet. Lt. wear. Finally is a 5.5x8.25” fold-over card with front text reading “It’s Always Green Duck Metal Stamping Co. For…” When opened, shows text of various feature/benefits of The Green Duck Co. promotions. Attached to card are 9 Ike button lithos with hand-written quantity pricing.
