Item Description
3.75” with raised edge featuring black transfer portrait on pearlware. Likely by Enoch Wood & Sons with a numeral “8” impressed on reverse. This image was used on larger plates and pitchers with the text “General Jackson Hero Of New Orleans.” 1/16” color dot off chin, small color loss on tip of left coat collar and one raised dot of glaze on lower rim edge, all likely as made. No chips or cracks. Exc. and Scarce.
