Item Description
Lot of three 3.5x5.5” postcards, 2 of which are by B.G. of Paris. c. early 1900s. First card is titled “Chez Maxim’s (6 Heures du Matin)” and features 5 topless (or nearly so) women enjoying the company of 3 men and several bottles of champagne. One single woman’s leg appears from underneath table. Next card is titled “Silence Is Golden” and shows old woman being paid off by man in the company of a topless woman to keep quiet. Additional scenes show men with young flower girls. Two .25x.5” tape stains on reverse of card at top and bottom center margins. Next card is “What Do You Think Of A Small Flower Like This?” and shows a woman presenting a young girl to a leering old man. Both this and previous card from “614” series, first card has “Carte Postale” notation on back. Unused with exception of some faint postcard collector notations in pencil on reverse of first and last card. Fine-VF. Risque content.
