Item Description
12.25x17.5” stiff cardboard countertop store display with easel back that held loose-packed (no clip-ons) ties by Harvard Neckware Co. ©1966 National Periodical Publications, Inc. Header card has “Batman” comic book title logo and images of Batman and Robin running above city skyline. A variety of ties were produced and included here are the majority of the bolo/slide-type ties produced by Harvard. Two have 1.25” brass luster medallions with “Batman” name and Batsymbol on one and Batman image on the other. Other 2 are 1.25x1.5” “Batman” batsymbol die-cut metal slides. Slides have some lt. wear and are VF/Exc. overall. Area where display held ties shows moderate wear/aging and is Fine though header portion of display only has light edge/corner tip wear and displays VF. From the Craig Warren Collection.
