Item Description
7-1/8x10.25” typed letter on “Sammy Davis Jr.” letterhead is dated Mar. 5, 1965 and thanks a woman for her kind comments on his television special of Feb., 1965. Letter reads in part “Thank You So Much For Your Very Nice Letter And Kind Comments About My Performance. I Am Happy To Know That You Enjoyed My Television Special Last Month. It Was Most Thoughtful Of You To Write And I Appreciate You Doing So.” Davis then signs in black felt tip pen at space provided. Folded twice horizontally as mailed. Letter has some aging and small stain spots in lower left corner but Fine/VF overall. Comes with Hake’s COA.
