Item Description
Whitman Big Little Book No. 717 ©1933. Not only is this the first Mickey BLB, but it is the original cover version (see second version #547). This cover features a more primitive looking Mickey and has Walt Disney signature at lower left. Image of Mickey and Minnie embracing appears on spine and back cover and this was also altered on the second version. Book features Floyd Gottfredson art. Cover has all-over noticeable dust soiling/aging. Spine cover has three splits, 1” to 1.5” in length but all remains firmly intact. Cover Good. Contents have typical aging and lt. wear but are overall Fine. Overstreet value in Good = $392, Fine = $980. Scarce and classic BLB.
