3.75x6.75x7/8" deep box contains 1.25" dia. chromed metal case, complete with original red band. Larger of 2 cases produced. Dial features full figure image of Captain Marvel holding fighter jet and "Captain Marvel" name. ©1948 Fawcett Pub. Inc. Insert shows wear and aging around slots for watch and lt. fading to some red areas. Two .5" tears by slats for watch. Box has lt. handling wear and fading to red areas. VG/Fine. Case retains bright luster. Dial remains totally bright and clean. Luminous material on numerals has aged but hands still glow faintly. Works. Exc.
