Item Description
6x6x1.75" deep hinged lid has great "Charlie Chaplin" Little Tramp design in the wood. Box has "HDKFS" label indicating handkerchiefs and Chaplin's copyright C.C.A.S. Co. Image and text is repeated on interior of lid and shows Chaplin having just fallen down and holding hand to head. Exterior of lid is heavily aged with dust soiling. VG. Interior of lid is clean and displays Exc. Also comes with matching 3.5x10x1.75" deep hinged lid box for "Charlie Chaplin Gloves." Chaplin is again depicted as the Little Tramp leaning on his cane. Lt. dust soiling. VF. Interior of lid has chipping to Chaplin's pants. Both c. 1920s.
