Item Description
Six different, each 5.5" tall with china bases and bisque figures. Five have matching metal plates on front of bases reading "Mickey Mouse/He Is The Most Fabulous Actor Since 1928." Underside of each has Disney markings along with text in Japanese as well as series letters and these are music boxes A-E, set of 5. Each depicts Mickey has he appeared in film and include Steamboat Willie, The Band Concert, Brave Little Tailor, Fantasia/Sorcerer's Apprentice, Nifty Nineties." Sixth music box in matching design although with different plate on the front featuring logo for the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. Figure is of Mickey in top hat and tails in patriotic colors. Front of this base reads "Tokyo Disneyland." Five play the Mickey Mouse Club theme song while one plays "It's A Small World." All are Mint as issued. Great design and scarce due to their availability only at Tokyo Disneyland. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
