Item Description
10x11.5" cardboard cover contains set of six 78-rpm records released by the Gramophone Co. Ltd. of England, RCA affiliate. Cover and all records have "His Masters Voice" text and logo of Nipper. 1936. Spine has label reading "Mickey Mouse & Silly Symphonies" with small Mickey image. Choice paper label on front cover depicts Mickey, Donald and Fifer Pig on a spinning record. Inside front cover has attached plate with image of Mickey carrying a stack of records. Small inked "78-rpm" appears at top right corner. Inside back cover has attached plate of Mickey holding picture featuring Nipper logo design. Album has 6 bound-in paper sleeves to hold the records. Each record features same label illustration of Mickey, Donald and Fifer Pig dancing. As noted on the cover, recordings are from the actual sound films. Films represented in either 1 or 2 parts are "Who Killed Cock Robin, The Orphans Benefit, Mickey's Grand Opera, Three Little Wolves, Three Little Pigs, Mickey's Moving Day, The Grasshopper And The Ants, Lullaby Land, Farm Yard Symphony." Album cover has trace of edge warp, other light edge/corner tip wear including some surface paper rubs, metal rivets at spine show surface oxidation. Front cover label has light trace of aging but remains totally bright and glossy with vibrant color. Cover is Fine. The records are in exceptional condition with an unplayed appearance. Some extremely minor traces of aging to the illustrated labels but set remains N. Mint. A truly outstanding set. We have offered a few of the individual records in the past but this is the first complete set we've seen in our 41 years.
