Item Description
5.5x13" long. 8" tall to top of figure. Stamped on front "Permission Percy Crosby ©1933 Skippy, Inc." Painted wood wagon reads "Coast To Coast" on front and back. Sides read "Skippy Xpress/Trademark." String attached at front. Metal clicker mechanism underneath. Noticeable paint loss on wheels. Green paint remains bright and intact. Wagon overall VF. Skippy celluloid figure stands 5.5" tall. Arms should be strung, but now one arm is glued and one is pinned. Skippy's chin is flattened leaving the impression that his head is on his chest. Back of figure is marked "Japan/Skippy/Copyright." Figure was originally glued into place when manufactured. Hardened glue has made the figure extremely fragile at the ankles where it was once broken off and now professionally re-glued. Due to the extreme fragile nature of this toy this could possibly be the only one still in existence. Figure overall VG. First we've seen. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tombusch and Ted Hake.
