Item Description
10x14.4x2.5" deep box contains 1930s set. Old store stock. Bottom of box is clean and tight with all original packing inserts. Lid of box has obvious wear with warping, water stain along bottom edge of lid and into side although not that obvious, dust soiling and torn corner. VG. Set consists of 8" long pressed steel wind-up engine with original key, key has overall light oxidation. Tin litho cars include coal car marked "Pennsylvania" and caboose marked "New York Central." Also included in this set which were not included in some of the previous sets of this type that we've offered are a box car marked "B. & LE, BessIemer" and a side dumping hopper car marked "New York Central 567." There are 8 curved and 4 straight sections of track. Instruction sheet slightly aged is also included. Engine works but no longer sparks due to missing flint. A few tiny nicks and scratches as boxed but set remains Exc./N. Mint.
