Item Description
Approximately 41x81". For the 1959 AIP film that featured "An Amazing New Dimension In Screen Thrills Hypno-Vista..." One of the many gimicks used in 1950s horror films. Hypno-Vista was designed to make viewers think "you are there." Poster is illustrated with gory scenes by Reynold Brown including woman in Iron Maiden, woman on torture wheel, executioner about to behead woman, woman in electric chair, woman in coffin, man with skeleton, bloody axe and binoculars. Three smaller vignettes further stress the affect of hypno-vista "See The Fantastic Binocular Murder! Feel The Tightening Noose! Feel The Icy Hands!" Poster issued in two over-lapping parts as is the norm with 3-sheet posters. Folded as issued. Poster shows wear along fold creases but still displays Exc. Would look N. Mint if linen-mounted.
