Item Description
6.5" tall. Early 1900s. Painted tin. Germany. Character toy from early George McManus newspaper comic strips "Their Only Child" which was orignally "The Newlyweds." Toy works well and hanging counterweight spins causing toy to shake about vigorously. Few spots of paint missing, but most paint remains, much more than normal for this type of early tin toy. VF/Exc.
