Item Description
1.5" tall muted silver luster embossed brass badge from 1942. Previously two reverse pin styles were known; one running horizontal and one with a wide vertical plate holding the narrow pin shaft. This is our second offered of a third style which is a narrow vertical base wire soldered to the badge that has a small curved segment at its center. We know of only 3 examples with this style pin. On this example, the pin came loose but has been professionally re-soldered in its original position. Displays Mint. A rare badge offered only two months due to WWII metal restrictions.
