1950s. Nice quality brown leather western saddle about 16” wide by 18” long plus side skirt and suspended stirrup extending downward about 24” from saddle itself. Each skirt flap has “Roy Rogers” name in embossed rope script above embossed image of him on rearing Trigger. Stirrups are wood under leather cover. Underside of saddle has wool fleece lining about 30% missing, mostly due to insect damage years ago. Around sides of saddle seat are six pairs of replaced long, narrow white leather accent strips. Appears complete with cinch straps. The leather panels showing Roy on Trigger show wear/crazing, one more so than other. General scuffs and wear overall. Obviously well used. VG. Rare.
