Item Description
c. mid-1950s. Both shirt and pants are high quality/well tailored. Each has a 2x2.5" label reading "Nudie's Rodeo Tailors/North Hollywood California." Nudie Cohn was the owner's name (although a bare-breasted female is featured on their logo). The shirt is very well tailored with padded shoulders, fold-over pocket flaps and 5 buttons on each cuff. This shirt was worn by Rex Allen in movies. The pants are equally as well tailored with the "Nudie's" label inside the waistline. Blue piping highlights the belt loops and pocket covers. All four pockets have blue snaps. The seat and inner thigh area to below the knees is carefully tailored with a second layer of matching fabric designed to withstand saddle wear. Bottom of each cuff has elastic straps to hold cuff in place inside boots. Allen wore these in personal appearances. Both of these are from his estate and obtained from Snuff Garrett, renowned record producer and western enthusiast. Comes with Hake COA. Exc.
