Item Description
Beautifully detailed 2.25" tall embossed die-cut brass shell pin from a series of 3 different issued in 1888. Listed as Hake #3180. On this piece, the cardboard center insert reads "I Knew It." The slogan is a prediction of Democratic victory in November 1888 election. Small bit of gray tone on the cardboard insert but the luster is brilliant and N. Mint. From the Joe Brown collection.
