This is one of the most interesting and unique autographed sports items we have seen. It is an "AMF Voit Official Collegiate" model "KB20" basketball. This has been signed by 3 prominent New York sports stars in fiber tip marker. The three major sports are represented. For baseball there is New York Yankees legend and one of baseball's foremost icons, Mickey Mantle. For basketball there is the legendary New York Knicks star and NBA Hall of Famer Willis Reed. For football there is Brad VanPelt all-pro New York Giants linebacker. The signatures are as follows: first and foremost is "To Dominick Best Wishes Mickey Mantle. This signature area is 2.5x5" and done on the panel just above the "AMF" logo panel. The top two panels of the ball have a large 5.5x6" signature area reading "To Dominick Best Wishes Willis Reed." The Reed signature itself is 2.5x5". One panel on bottom of ball has 3x6" signature area reading "To Dominick Best Of Luck Brad VanPelt." The ball has all-over dust soiling and aging, overall basketball itself remains Fine. The inscription added by Reed is faint. However, his signature itself is distinct. Both the Mantle and VanPelt signed areas remain fairly distinct. Comes with a hand-written letter from the original owner detailing how he obtained these signatures. Also comes with James Spence letter of authenticity and Hake's COA.
