At center of this issue is 4-page glossy paper advertisement promoting the Famous Monsters magazine. Includes photos of cover images, "The Best From Famous Monsters" paperback book along with extensive text. This includes "Playboy Will Never Be A Big Magazine/MAD Is Just A Passing Fad." Also bound into the center of this issue is a 10.5x22" glossy paper window display banner. Choice graphics promote the Godzilla and King Kong models with text "The Invasion Is On/Add This Terrifying Twosome To Your Collection Of Aurora Movie Monster Models." Cover shows wear with aging, a number of small tears along spine edge but cover remains intact. Top right corner of front cover has .5" chip, back cover has 1x1.5" piece missing along left edge. Contents lightly aged, several pages have small margin tear. The 4-page "Monsters" ad is VF. The bound-in banner has light wear, tiny trace of staple rust but still firmly intact. VF. Overall condition of magazine is VG. This banner was only obtainable in this trade publication. Original Aurora promotional items are very hard to find and few are as impressive as this banner. Only a few copies are known with banner intact. This is the first we have ever offered. Comes with a two-sided frame and as shown in our photo, when framed, the banner shows on the front while the open cover is visible on the back. Magazine has been removed from this frame for catalogue purposes but will come along with this item.
