Item Description
3.25x7" Christmas card has Burnette's full signature in blue ink. c. 1961. Comes with 5x5" trimmed copy of a promotional photo issued by Liberty Records c. 1961. Burnette was a pioneer and became a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. His earliest fame came with producer Snuff Garrett in May, 1960 when "Dreamin" made him famous to millions. His fourth Liberty single, "You're Sixteen" from October, 1960 hit #8 in the US and #3 in Britain. His career was cut short on the night of August 14, 1964 when his unlit small fishing boat was struck by a cabin cruiser on Clear Lake, California. A rare signature on N. Mint card. Comes with Hake's COA.
