Item Description
10" tall figural lamp base of Cecil coming out of the water. Back of base has incised Bob Clampett copyright. 1951. Complete with stiff paper shade with great wrap-around character illustrations of Beany, Captain Huffenpuff, Dishonest John, Wong and Hunny Bear. Marked "Alert Lamp Company." Shade has scattered creasings and moisture staining as well as all over aging. Base has some paint rubs to Cecil's eyelashes but is o/w Exc. We believe very few were made and this is only the second we've seen.
