Item Description
12x15" wall plaque has brass plaque text reading "Shot Heard Round The World/Polo Games/October 3, 1951." Baseball signed by both in blue ink. Ball is official National League Rawlings/1989-90 era. Bobby Thomson hit the game-winning, ninth inning, 3-run homer off Brooklyn Dodger's pitcher Ralph Branca. This capped the New York Giants historic come-back to win the National League pennant. Also displayed is 1953 New York Giants program (not from the aforementioned game). Also displayed are two 1952 Bowman cards. Branca is #96. Thomson is #2. Great display piece. Exc. Comes with James Spence letter of authenticity and Hake's COA.
