1-1/16" with concave brass rim finished in dark metallic color but highlighted by mint brass luster on surrounding circle of stems and leaves. Ferrotype image is exceptionally bright with only a single pinpoint black dot above his hairline at right and under magnification there is a very faint hairline scratch crossing his hair on the left. Reverse has horizontal pin with brass clasp. Ornate and a rare pin-back ferrotype. Exc.
