Item Description
Hake #3019. 1.5" tall brass shell with eagle pin at top. A tiny brass loop that joined the eagle to the suspended frame snapped off long ago and a tiny cord was used as a replacement. From the front only a tiny dot of white fabric shows while on the reverse is a slightly larger knotted area. Gilt flashing has disappeared from the piece but all brass surfaces are clean. The Hancock image is just a little light in tone but with clear details while the English image is quite strong. In the Hake 2005 Revised Prices at $1,800. Overall Fine.
