Calendar consists of 12 glossy 5x6.75" pages with comic characters representing each month of the year. Each illustration is representative of that particular month. Example, Nancy and Sluggo making snowmen. At bottom of each page is comic strip name, cartoonist and copyright. Jan. "Nancy," Feb. "Bo," March "Smokey Stover," April "Sweeney & Son," May "Little Orphan Annie," June "The Neighbors," July "Steve Canyon," Aug. "Penny," Sept. "The Gumps," Oct. "Winnie Winkle," Nov. "Gasoline Alley," Dec. "Smitty." Last page has text including "The Biggest Thing In Comics! 42 Top Sunday Newspapers. 18 Million Homes/Where Forty-Two Million Readers Gather Every Sunday, Every Season, Every Year. An Assured National Audience For National Advertisers." Calendar was likely distributed to potential advertisers. Top has red plastic spiral spine and cloth cord for hanging.
