5 3/8” X 2.5”. Reverse of label says “This label represents a gift of 3D. towards the cost of transporting a good Spanish Republican to a new life in Mexico. 60,000 Loyalist from Spain separated from their families, are living under terrible conditions in the French Concentration Camps. These men are in danger of being forced into Franco Spain to face a death sentence for the crime of defending their country. The Government of Mexico has agreed to take 60,000 men and other Latin American Countries are willing to open their doors. All that is needed is the means of transport from France to the New World. The first ship, the American Liner Winnipeg has already been chartered and will sail early in May. Other ships will follow. London has pledged to raise 5,000 pounds." This is a label for a passenger who will board the S.S. Winnipeg. Exc. Rare.
